About Bryan
![]() Bryan is my best friend. He is a wonderful husband
who stays focused on family while working very hard
on his career. He has a dry sense of humor that keeps
me on my toes, but he also has a sensitive side that
seems to emerge just when needed. Bryan is very good
with children; he loves to play with our niece and
nephews when they are around, and the first thing
they ask when they see me is "Where's Uncle Bryan?".
Our cousins and children from church keep him busy as well. I believe Bryan will be an all-around good dad.
He is very anxious to become a dad and assume all the
responsibilities that come with it.

About Katrina
Katrina is the one person in the world I know I can count on. She currently works full time and has a
sideline cake decorating business with her Mom, but
family always comes first. Katrina also has an
education degree and has tons of patience for
teaching children. Katrina is very easygoing. Our
niece, nephews, and cousins always scream for her to
come play as soon as they see her. She loves being
around children and they love being around her. That
is just as apparent when I watch her in her classroom
or the nursery at church as it is when we are around
family. She'll be a great mom and role model, and she
is ready to begin that journey. Katrina has already
started a collection of movies, Christmas tapes, and
children's books in hopes of one day sharing them
with our own child and starting new family traditions.

Values
![]() We feel that family together time is important and helps to
keep the lines of communication open. Both Bryan and Katrina
grew up sharing family meal times and family outings. We intend
to continue this tradition so that we can always stay current and
active in our children’s lives. We believe lots of hugs and kisses
are just as important in letting a child know he/she is loved as
saying the words. We are active members of our church, work in
the nursery, teach GAs, and help with church functions whenever
possible (and will continue to do so with our children). We both
feel studying the Bible as well as leading by example are two key
factors in the development of a child’s value system. We both
believe in the importance of life-long learning.

Family Katrina’s parents live within 30 minutes and are thrilled
at the prospect of another grandchild. They are ready to
help finish the nursery. Katrina’s only sister and her
husband also live close by; they have two children who can’t
wait for Aunt Katrina and Uncle Bryan to “have someone
else for them to play with.” Bryan’s entire family lives 1 –
1 ½ hours away; they can’t wait for the arrival of their
second grandchild and are already buying gifts. Our child
will come into our family with 4 great-grandparents, 4
grandparents, 6 aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins.
Our extended church family is equally excited, and they are
already making plans for a baby shower.
